The Desert Spring line is based on the use of Dead Sea mud and minerals which are very effective for skin treatment and especially for oily and problem skin.

Problem Skin is normally caused when sebaceous (oily) glands activity is increased due to the effects of hormones, mostly on teenagers.
This oiliness normally acts as a lubricant for the skin and is an important material in this function.
Sometimes the secretion of the oiliness is blocked by cells that are close to the skin surface. In the case of hair growth, these oils have no way to surface and start building up underneath the skin. 

To treat this state, it is needed to dry the skin by removing the secreted oiliness in order to prevent the damages caused by the secretion. 

Minerals and mud from the Dead Sea were found to be very effective, drying the oiliness, clearing the skin and providing deeper cleansing of the skin.

These problem skin disturbances may appear with teenagers and at a later age on the face, chest or on the back.
